Forums - Gaming Discussion - Titanfall 2 Designer: Switch Is So Underpowered Third Party Support Will Be No Different Than Wii U

Why are people shitting on Titanfall 2 again? Purely because it got buried by CoD/Battlefield hype? How many here actually played it?

Exactly what I thought. I haven't played it either just yet, but I'm definitely going to get it soon. The game is supposed to be excellent. People are hating it because no one plays it (except the 2 million that VGC shows) ?

So "low" selling stuff = bad game? I don't get it.

Someone should ask him will we see Titan Fall 3? I think he will have similar response.

Lmao, alright this made me laugh.

Lmao everyone a savage nowadays.

What are they laughing at? They're the ones who flopped...

no surprise there, it really looks graphically impressive

not a professional attitude whatsoever

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Most 3rd party games aren't going to be on the Switch, so nobody should really be surprised by this.

At least he gave a harsh but honest response. All those "we are looking into it" or "if there is a demand" bullshits are just useless.

How is that one bullshit? That's like the most honest answer anyone can give.

It s just a way for them to say no without actually saying no. For example Bioware is not looking if there is a demand for Andromeda on Switch.

They already think it would sell poorly. And the fact that they have to downgrade it a lot doesnt help either.

Bad news for Switch third party support. Not looking good

Titanfall 2 NPD 2 months, I wouldn't consider it a flop.

Titanfall 2 drops resolution to 720p on PS4 and sub 720p on Xbox One to provide smooth 60 fps experience.

This thing wouldn't run on Switch even in 480p, it's an ARM chip with (most likely) sub 0,5 Tflops GPU..

In other words, it's obvious Titanfall 2 won't release on Switch.

Sounds like the thing shouldn't have released on PS4 or Xbox One then either. Poor optimization and design apparently lead one to disparage in industry partner.

No class.
