I have a WiiU and I've enjoyed it inmensely. The only reason I'm not getting a Switch yet (or at least next holidays, with Mario Oddisey), is because I've already have little time to gaming this days (and I pretend to have even less in the next months-years) so I don't see me investing in a new platform... I'm still well served with my WiiU, owning some games I haven't finished. Also, I'll buy Zelda, so I suppose that I'll spend my next years playing it!

I have spent over 5000 hours on mine, so I guess I have had my moneys worth.

I don't see what's wrong with the logic that $300 for a home/handheld console that is significantly less powerful than 2 other, significantly older, well-supported, and very available consoles is a lot to ask of a consumer.

That's the most expansive "handheld" since a lot of time. Even more expansive than the Vita in its time.

The pricing is out of its world.... Nintendo should have gone with AMD if it meant an affordable console.

They're in a tough spot: market it as a very expensive handheld that you can play on your TV or as a close-to-average priced home console that you can play on the go.

Wait. What? DF confirmed that PS3/X1 were more powerful, especially when it came ot multiplats. The latter part probably was a sign of things to come.

Xbox One is more powerful, no doubt. Digital Foundry? When did it confirm PS3 being more powerful?

They did side-by-side testing of multiplat games, but I'm too old to remember when they did so.

Granted, it wasn't massively outclassed; it was just outclassed.

I am not jumping to conclusions. I am not buying the Switch until I have a good reason for it and in the first months I have no reasons to buy the Switch.

Yes.. becourse that "conclusion" can not be made yet.. Becourse you still dont know what "Switch" is in its first month..

You could only make that conclusion if you believed that you know all.. and that would not make sense.

Nintendo was going to make Splatoon or Mario Kart 8 free , then they would have make all the online free. All will be behind a paywall.

Again.. you act like you know.. anything about how they will price and also like its just a paywall.. Remember PS+.. Sony made a sucription that people saw as value.. I bet anything that Nintendo also will try do that.. And its till very posible that it will be better.. meaning a thing that 90% of users will have.. Not for plaing online.. that just one part.. but for the benefits that it gives..

Point is.. As long as we only have heard about old VC games.. and nothing about reward system.. mobil interagtion.. games at the service.. price.. it to damn early to say that its bad.. You have to wait until the "online direct" reggie hinted

I can't complain. I own dozens of Wii U games. But I still feel ripped off because it really wasn't a full console experience. My time with Wii U kinda reminds me of my time with Saturn. Lots of different interesting games, but it was weak compared to competition.

I am glad i dont have Wii U, i had planed once to get one, but then again the hybrid rumor were running around, so i wait. And my prediction was right, it's Wii U but on handled size. I hope i can buy Switch next year , and play exclusive games that i missed (hope all Wii U exclusive coming include Xenoblade X)

The Wii U is definitely Nintendo's Saturn. And if they're not careful, Switch could up being their Dreamcast.

I have a Wii U and a ton of games (backlog as well). So i'll just wait and see for the Switch. I'm not a day 1 console owner anyway except for that PS4 :(
Not salty and I hope success for the switch.... so I can buy it and with great library games from 1st party and 3rd party devs...

Its the first Nintendo console that I have no interest in whatsoever. Its pretty sad. I never thought that I wouldn't be interested in Switch when it was announced. Nintendo finally found a way to drive me away. Its something I never thought I would happen.
