Forums - Nintendo Discussion - People complaining about Bombermans price...

Isnt it too small and formulaic a game to cost what its gonna costs? I honestly can see this game available only in the online store for 20 bucks and it'd be... appropiate.

But bomberman sold for 60 rrp in the past and probably cost a fraction of the price to make compared to now.

We don't owe these companies a profit we look at their product and pricing and decide whether to buy it.
If I can get a equal gaming fix for less elsewhere it makes sense to do so

Compare Bomberman to BOTW and tell me they should be pretty much the same price. I know this hobby is expensive, but lets not be ok with everything.

Because Bomberman last gen was only $9.99.

^ these guys, Nailed it.

The question is why you made a thread defending the games price instead.

And I cant believe you used FFXV as a compairison to a cheap small arcade game, to make your point.

I could use any game I've bought in the last 20 years,  i just used FFXV cause i was playing it 30 mins ago lol

When it was first announced, i was sure it was an eshop exclusive game priced no more than $30.

Who knows, maybe there's more content than we know worthy of its price.

When on Amazon I can buy Breath of the Wild for £50 on the Switch, Bomberman being £50 too is a bit...iffy. I don't think I need to say which is better value and more justifiable for that price tag

Having said that, I do hope that soon after launch retailers will begin to sell the games for lower prices, though I don't expect that for a few months.

It is going to have a 50 level campaign right? I have a weird feeling it will have micro transactions, If it doesn't great. That would be better than being better than nothing

I don't really care about price either way, however logically, Konami should have known pricing it this high is a problem.

Didnt it have that in the tree house showing? they died and said they could use some currency to continue ect but didnt.

That is where my feeling stems from; However, the game could very well feature only in game currency and not actual currency. It doesn't really confirm it one way or the other. If it is in though I won't waste a good opprtunity to make that pic saying "Konami Queen has already touched the game with microtransactions" with Killer Queen being Bomberman.

Bomberman, no matter how you slice it, isn't a $50 game. It's not really even a $40 game. The visuals don't reflect that amount, I'm sure programming shouldn't have been that large of a hurdle for a game like Bomberman, and isn't Nintendo like providing financial support or something?

Because it's not worth that much

If there is a lot of content, which I don't really see then possibly but still, it's still really expensive :/
