If true then it's really disappointing.

Why is it "really disappointing"?

Nintendo owns the IP and created the game. Its a little lazy that whoever was tasked with creating the VC version didn't have a copy to dump the ROM from on-hand, but I'm not really sure how this affects people.

lulz.

Meh, I pirate it anyway

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

 this is one of those "we are the owners, so deal with it" situations.

quite funny in my opinion... something like this:

if you don't know the backstory, google is your friend.

Technically this makes Nintendo a pirate. And I think I will buy Zelda botw and rip it in my PC to play (just like Nintendo I am not doing anything illegal).

Maybe? I mean it's their IP and their work originally so I can't say I feel too strongly about it.

Yeah. If you have the know-how to do it, freaking do it. You paid for your copy.

Well it may be their IP, so yeah, they can do whatever with it, but to download an illegal rom and just put it for sale its kind of a weird way to handle things, specially since they are very rigid with roms and anti-piracy measures.

Its the first Super Mario Bros. Stop using money on it.
