Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo: There is too much confusion about anything!

I guess most people will agree with me when I say, that due to the lack of proper information by Nintendo for the Switch and all the features, Nintendo surely did a crappy job by enlightening everyone what will be going on.

I don't know why they didn't came out straight and told everyone what will be possible and how it will be implemented, like the Online App for the Switch for example.

This causes way too much confusion and people are either unsure wether to buy the console or not. The lack of proper information is also being used to downplay Nintendo. I suppose that Nintendo didn't do themselves a favour with this.

Seriously Nintendo, just tell your customers what they want to know!

I agree. They keep saying "More info will come at a later date". Theres 6 weeks until the thing launches FFS!

I would love to see a online service Direct, but I have the feeling they don't have enough content to substain it.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

- voice chat, matchmaking/lobbies only via smartphone

-online multiplayer fee - u got one Snes game for a month

- no normal controller bundled,

- underpowered as a home console

-overpriced as a handheld.

The confusion is intended. Look at this site. There are Switch threads EVERYWHERE! It's the hot topic and that won't change too soon. People just can't stop talking about it and why is that? Because they have so many questions. If Nintendo would just give all information right away, no one would still talk about the console. With what Nintendo is doing right now, it is generating hype.

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

They could just have an indepth Switch Direct. Online service, VC info, Eshop, the OS etc...

Is this supposed to be a joke?

The thing that the marketing would be better failed, I knew more about the Wii-U a few months before launch then I know about the Switch right now.

I am sure there will be less confusion on the product from people who are not reading the news and stuff but the clouds of unclear messaging and just details missing is massive.

Horrible.

Sadly, no.

3DS was 240 at launch, and Switch specs are ... underwhelming as a home console, even Eurogamer has pointed that.

Fell free to disagree.

But all the discussion I see is mostly "Nintendo is stupid because of xy".

I don't think that was their intention.
