And you can also milk cows with it!

Nintendo has recently been embracing nostalgia in a way that I never would have expected from them. Even featuring footage from their older games regularly in their Directs. I, for one, welcome it.

That's properly addressed in the article. I know you can read, but comprehension is the troubling part. Expecting a 3DS-like Fire Emblem on mobile, oh man...

Why would I read an article if you already took the effort and posted the best bits in the thread? Most people in this forum don't even read the OP, let alone click on links. Why would you expect anyone to read the full article? Talk about being naive.

Maybe for Nintendo die Hard fans who haven't try Wii U , or for Wii U owner who like to go mobile, or even dedicated gamer who already owned PC, Xbox, PS4 and have money to spare and want to try Nintendo first party exclusive.

They have to. The little kids dont give a damn about Nintendo, and the generation who Nintendo had in the palm of their hand are all grown up. Nostalgia is everything if they dont have a once in a lifetime fad hit like the Wii. This is for the same niche market as the Wii U, except the device is actually a long range portable.

I still don't buy the logic that Wii U was aimed at the Call of Duty "mature" gamer ... just because it had Call of Duty. Wii had Call of Duty too, the only difference was it was crappier because the hardware couldn't run the game properly, if Activision could have ported the PS3/360 COD games to the Wii directly, they obviously would have and they probably would have sold well.

New Super Mario Bros.
Nintendo Land
Sing Party
Ninja Gaiden: Razor's Edge (an old port)
LEGO City Undercover
Game & Wario
Pikmin 3
Wonderful 101
Zelda: WWHD
Wii Party U
Wii Sports Club
Wii Fit U
Mario & Sonic Sochi Olympics
Super Mario 3D World

6/14 games are mini-game/party game casual fare (almost half!) and there's two Mario games both of which are developed for the expanded audience.

Combined with commercials like this:

It was pretty obvious who Nintendo was aiming the Wii U at ... they just didn't have a wonder controller gimmick that anyone cared about the second time around.

Kids don't give a damn about Nintendo? To who have they sold those 60M+ 3DSes?

My guess is Spurge.

The more I here about Switch, the less I expect it to sell. This is going to be a device specifically for the hardcore gamer. Unless there are major changes to the platform, it is going to be a battle to get to 20 million sold.

With the introduction of Nintendo games on Android and iOS, the casuals I know are even less inclined to buy this now, especially with it being so limited.

I am very scared for the future of mobile games right now. I hoped Switch was going to put up a fight against Phones and Tablets, but instead it is asking people to buy a phone or tablet to get the most out of it. The value of gaming form factor mobile devices has never been this low.

I still remain optimistic that one day we can have great mobile devices, and I would really love for Nintendo to be a player. At the moment though, serious changes need to made if their is any hope of them hanging around.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. KBG29 on PSN&XBL

That title gave me tears from laughing XD Yeah, the return of that stupid motion gaming is definitely for hardcore gamers X'D

Please, just accept the fact that this parody of a console will be a biggest failure than the wiiu and that it is the last one made by Nintendo before they stop making consoles and just do mobiles games. I'm actually quite sure even them know that.
