Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Anyone plan to leave the house with their Switch?

I play my N3DSXL on the train or if I travel at my stay. I assume I'd do the same with the Switch if nothing seroious gets in the way.

Yes. With some of my psn friends we already make a plan to do it.

Yes. All around the house and when I'm out and about.

Not really, maybe to work for when I'm on break but that would be about it. To be fair though my Vita and 3DS don't leave the house, I don't really buy portables to play outside my house.

If it doesn't have bluetooth I can't use it in public transport anyway.

Why not?

Because I'm not lugging around 200m of audio cable just to connect my headphones with it.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I'll take it with me quite often. To show it off to my friends and family, and also when I know I'll have a lot of "waiting" time, depending where I go.

I really can't picture anyone in the public playing this huge thing. Though I think its really convient to play all over your house or packing it for long trips.

I don't plan to leave home with ot but I do plan on plenty of undocked play.

The Switch is the size of an iPad mini which people carry around with them all the time, a large number of tablets are bigger than the switch.

Yes, I'm travelling a whole fucking lot. Sometimes I'm sitting 12 hours a day on a train and I would be very pleased if I could play with my Switch in that time!

I wouldn't take it with me in my everyday life. Like, there's no point in carrying it around when I'm going to the store around the corner or pick up my son from Kindergarten or something. And I definitely won't take it to the beach. The sand there is a deathtrap for most electronic devices. xD

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

People use tablets, portable consoles and laptops in public, in airports, cafés, train/bus stations, in the subway....
I don´t see any problem using a Switch the same way.
