Just realise that the switch isn't going to make it either way. They are just replicating what they did with the Wii U, but letting your gamepad go a bit further. Nintendo deserves the switch to be a failure and its better for the market if it is.

Let the portable market out of this. Question instead why Nintendo didn't learn with their home console and killed the Wii U early just to poop out the same thing again. It's best if Nintendo sticks to portables.

The Wii U wasn't killed early. It simply didn't sell.

Yeah its pretty crazy how 3DS seems much more important to Nintendo than Switch, like they announce à Switch exclusive 5 dzys ago and todzy this exclusive is lost to thé 3DS zven before its release.
And to disappoint éven more , thé next soon FE release is announced exclusively on 3DS and thé only FE for Switch is announced for 2018 without anything to show( so 2019 certainly )

Also, There are 2 times more games coming exclusively on 3DS than on Switch.


So they shouldnt bé surprided by all the négativity when theyre doing that to thé Switch

Hasn't this sort of thing occurred throughout the history of gaming? New consoles have always thrived or failed regardless.

I thought killing off one console in favor of the next was a bad thing? That seemed to be the stance before now

There will obviously be a transition period, since the difference in install base between the 3DS and the Switch will be too much to ignore. Eventually projects will focus entirely on the Switch. Not sure why anyone would expect otherwise...this is almost always the case with Nintendo handhelds.

The majority of the negativity is the result of people trying hard to be negative. Case in point: You.

If I use your simple Logic, thé majority of positivity is thé result of blind fans, should i continue ?

 

While most journalists are negative about it, Japanese  too Mock it and Want to stick to 3DS.

 

Sorry but objectively it doesnt look good Because its not, especially After WiiU, there is à reason why this console receives so much négativity
