*Sigh* All Nintendo had to do was let 3DS die its natural death, but no, they had to keep it on life support and hold back Switch.

FE Warriors not being exclusive to Switch is one less reason for people to buy the system, while major new games like Echoes still coming to 3DS suggests Nintendo is NOT giving Switch the full unified support that they should.

I fear we're looking at another Wii U situation, where Nintendo is trying to support two platforms, and as a result Switch will be plagued by droughts just like Wii U.

Considering how bad the performance of Hyrule Warriors was even on the N3DS, I wouldn't worry about that one. What I would worry about is FE Echoes, I would have gladly bought that one for the Switch, it would have been nice making it for both NS and 3DS.

You mean it's competing with itself. I think Zelda should be Switch exclusive to make sure it is a success ;-P

Pretty sure they said they want both the 3DS and Switch to coexist for a while. This is them doing that, by bringing games to both platforms.

Well FE Warriors is only on New 3DS plus the Switch version is clearly the definitive version. They need the 3DS right now until the Switch has been out long enough to gain a good install base. Also Fire Emblem 2018 will be hype! It will be a major leap in the main series.
