https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_OgxrwWZU8

During an interview with ProJared NoA CEO Reggie Fils-Aime lets us know a few more info on the Switch, in particular, while talking about the Online app he confirmed that Bluetooth Headsets will be compatible with the Online App .

Well, this become less of an issue.Btu I dont understand why the bluetooth headset cant connect to the Switch directly.Hopefully they clear that out on the future.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

A little off topic but that interview was pretty cool, if you guys can watch it.

Perhaps they wanted as little software on the Switch as possible given how small the space on it is already...

It really was, ProJared is a smart guy, he asks and says what's better for the comunity when talking to people like Reggie, of course I think that he had to limit himself a little, I will never believe that out of ALL the Third Party games that aren't announced for Switch the best he could think of was Monster Hunter...

Guessing because the OS for the Switch is basically going to be nonexistant. It will basically be just a settings and game icons.

Their OS will be on the phone. There you will see who is online, your friends, miiverse (is that gone now?) ect.

of course they will... it'll work with anything your phone works with. The whole point is to allow the game console to focus 100% on the game and push all communications off on your phone/other device. Which is something you could already do with your phone. Only benefit this will provide is a layer between your phone number and your NNID. This will also likely require wifi/data usage, just like the topic of this thread, that should go without saying.

I wonder if you're on to something. There was a report that there's no Netflix app for the Switch at launch either.

I'll be interested in how their phone app is. Maybe it will be cool and like a new facebook or something. Be like their Nintendobook. Facebook has live videos now, clicking share button on controller may put live video on your Nintendobook. Your status updates automatically to what game your playing, online, ect. There could be game channels like on facebook, and there you discuss or join groups to play, ect.

Who knows. They could make it cool. I'll hold my breath with Nintendo though.

I think you could of picked out a lot more interesting stuff from that interview! I mean way more, I encourage very one to watch it if you can because it was very entertaining had so many hinted details. I loved when Reggie said "What's the worst thing you've ever said about Nintendo, and say it to my face." as well as the fact that Reggie asked if you could have any 3rd party game for the Switch what would be, it seems as if Nintendo is now taking into account what people are saying a lot more, especially with the hinted part about having virtual console games on just one account so you don't have to rebuy them at a fee so I'd love to see what becomes of that.

Yup Miiverse is gone, also on your other comment I'm not so shure on the whole sharing videos on the App idea because it could go against its purpose of beeing mainly used to get together for chatting but I could see it automatically posting your screenshots so that it can update in real time on what you're currently playing
