Wow. They all sound pretty good to me, except Zelda's voice sucks ass in every dub besides English! Especially Japanese! How does that happen?

A clear win for the people who argued against Zelda having voice acting.

Yeah, I'm just hoping for a volume option though since the game is designed around having voice acting, not sure it would be advisable to put it all the way down...

Well you could, and just have subs. Afraid that might get rid of grunts and what have you though.

But VA sounded fine in American dub from what i heard. Also seeing some gameplay vids, it appears game is not fully VA, but still has lots of text to read.

I'm just excited to have not seen any sort of a Navi/FI/Tatl/Midna/ect in this game.

Opinions are all over the board is my experience. Some hate one and prefer another.

All this could have been avoided if it was classic LoZ: nothing but text as I elaborated in my thread: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=224677 .

I just hope there's an option to change voice tracks so people can choose for themselves.

As far as German dubs go that is actually pretty good. But even though I'm German and it used to be my native and primary language for the most parts most German dubs aren't very good. As far as voice acting goes Japan and US are the best its probably due to the fact that both countries have a very large talent pool of voice actors. Both countries also have well known voice actors. Plus in the US well know regular actors regularly do voice acting on the side. And in the US voice acting goes back to the early days of radio so it pre dates sound in film. A lot of early American TV shows where either radio shows or are based on radio shows.

Pretty sure they said dual adio. Not sure what that means since there is like a ton of different audio's. Is it just going to be like English/Jap, German/Jap, English/German, English/Spnaish.

Or whatever they feel the two are for your region.

Or will it be like Witcher and you can download any of like 30 languages. I'm hoping the later. Have each game come with like Japanese and whatever main language is in your region. Then let you download any other to the hardware if you want. Or maybe even cartridge. They are 16gb cards and the game is suposedly only liek 14.2 or something.

Well a lot of games that have voice acting aren't fully VA especially RPG's.

Yeah, the latter would be ideal.

I think I'll actually be happy with the English dub, but an option for text-only would be a great addition. They went through the trouble of making all those dubs, a voiceless version should be simple. I doubt they'll include more than two languages, though. Size has to become an issue at some point. It'll be nice if you can download additional ones from the eShop, though.
