Think Xbo Onex or PS4 launched without some initial apps. Not that big of a deal at all.

Ah shit! Now I have to watch it on my PC...or PS3...or 360...or PS4...or XB1...or WiiU...

Ha, ain't that the truth. Always found it funny that whenever something new was announced it woudl brag up Netflix or something. like everything doesn't have it anyway.

This is definitely a bummer. I plan for Switch to replace my tablet when traveling and without Netflix, it will never do that. Hope it comes quick, cause I don't want to carry two tablets around.

Kind of agree. While everything else in the tech world has netflix, so it's not hard to pop out my phone to watch or something, I do wish this had it. I'll have to see when this releases how I use it. But I could also have seen this being a replacement tablet for me. A decent internet and netflix and it could do that.

Be nice to have the OPTION to watch netflix on the plane instead of being game only. Though planes charge rediculous for wifi, so probably wouldn't anyway. So not sure how much I woudl use it. Never use Netflix on my tablet unless somewhere that I can wifi free, which isn't in car/plane/ect. So if I do, it's usually on my phone anyway. But don't really netflix away from home.

hopefully it's not trash like the wii u version

What was trash on teh Wii U? Only thing I hated was the fact that it played on both teh TV and tablet same time. Basically had to throw a blanket over the gamepad to not have some glaring light in the corner of my eye while watching. But other than that, I found it very good. Nice to control and navigate. Also the gamepad let yo ulook at things like cast and stuff while the movie was playing.

You can now use Netflix in offline mode and completely bypass ridiculous airline wifi charges. I would need Switch to allow that option in order for it to become my new tablet.

well trash compared to other versions, was a bit slow and clunky. With the capacity touch screen should be better to navigate.

For some people it makes no difference (it certainly doesn't for me), but I'm sure there would be a lot of appeal to having a portable Netflix.

Portable Netflix? Like the already existing Netflix app for Android and iPhone? ^^

true.

But woudl still probably bring tablet. Tablets wouldn't hardly increase your carrying luggage. I mean just take the Switch and make it a few centimeters thicker to represent a tablet lying next to it.

Reason I woudl still use tablet is batter life. I woudl use my tablet (also bigger screen) for movies, and Switch for games.

Don't really care. I don't like streaming services anyhow.

But it is a very big deal if they are launching in the face of the competition offering it.

That's odd, it worked perfectly fine for me. It's a bummer to not have it on Switch on launch, but I can wait.

This is kinda important. If Nintendo wants to be that junk tablet that replaces the kids tablet its going to need Netflix. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and all the other apps.
