I wrote in 2012 that my LTD for the PS4 would be 20% less than the PS3 (~8 million), might have to revisit that.

Gravity Rush 2, Valkyria, RE7, Nioh, Super Robot V, Horizon and Nier all releasing between now and the end of March. There's going to be some solid sales for the PS4.

Looks like the PS4 needs to do ~32k on average to beat the PS3 in the race to 5million. That will be pretty tough, although many new releases are coming up.

I honestly don't know if I am impressed by Kingdom Hearts or not, only reason I am like shouldn't it have done a bit more because of that extra stuff for Kingdom hearts 3. The rest of software didn't decline as much as I thought it would, strange to see 3DS still that strong, and obviously PS4 is impressive.

Don't worry it will be up gen over gen a lot longer then the 3DS ever was.

Yep going from 80-90k down to 45-50k seems like it.

Its still not bad though, this is higher than it was last year at this time Im guessing.

I think it's done about as well as it could do. DanganRonpa 2 (PSP) sold 69k so it's a nice improvement over that.

Other DanganRonpa games on Vita - 1-2 Reload sold 76k while Another Episode sold 70k. So it's a nice improvement on all of those and I'm pleased it broke 100k.

With that said, I may have been expecting a little more because there's been a media blitz for it in recent years (2 x anime; spinoffs; remakes; mobile games) and it's only increased around 30k, but I'm not too disappointed.

That is interesting, given how are the legs for the franchise, sometimes we must not confuse out of the box great numbers for a franchise growth with actual franchise growth if the 2nd week and 3rd week fall behind.

Its gonna do like 18-18.5m this year.

If its at 54.5m start of 2017.... by start of 2018 it should be around 72-73m.

Then factor in 2018,2019,2020....

Something has to go horribly wrong for the PS4 to not do atleast 100m.
