EA has said they will make "Fifa exclusively for the switch" so it won't be the same version as the XBox360/ps3 (which is legacy now) or the Xbox One/PS4/PC

Now its good they are not using the PS3/Xbox360 version but history tells us that when EA Makes an exclusive fifa game...
Like Fifa on portable systems like the PSvita....
Or Fifa on the Wii.....

They release the "almost same" version for a few years that only changes the names and doesn't get any of the new features.
Fifa on the go is one of my favourite things, I played manager and fifa on the vita for years, but they are quite bad lol.

Do you think this same faith awaits the switch? I hope for for people who are buying, but I am afraid id might happen and maybe the NBA 2K also :(

From bussines poin of view - there is no reason for EA to make any effort in Switch.

I expect FIFA Switch to be the PS360 version of the game, and then EA just be quiet about the inevitable controversy.

Did Fifa on Vita sold some hardwares?

Isn't FIFA kind of always the same game with a different (thin) coat of paint and a minimal tweak to the mechanics on every platform?

Customizing it for the Switch does not necessarily mean building it from the ground up. Taking an existing version and fitting it to the Switch's hardware makes it "exclusive to Switch". It don't see the problem here.

And likewise, from a customer point of view - there is no reason for Switch owners to buy EA games. 

Is obvious that is going to be a half fifa game because they don't say anything about "17" just fifa
