They're bad when they're 100% of the main cast.

I prefer pretty boys taking 100% of the main cast than having to endure terrible women on the party.

That's so wrong. I prefer terrible women taking 100% of the main cast than having to endure pretty boys on the party.

You probably had an orgasm playing FF X-2 and Lightning Returns, then. It was time for us fans of pretty boys to have a game for ourselves.

I actually had when playing FFX-2. Not so much LR but that had a lot of other reasons. Also every FF that lets you have a 100% terrible women party. So almost every FF.

Party is not only composed of what you see, but those who stay behind carrying all those items for them. Not to mention before FF X-2 there wasn't any Final Fantasy game that didn't interwine, at least, male and female characters in your party throughout the story save for the original Final Fantasy.

Yes, a real FF would be great. But please without the overused and boring FF5 job system. On the other hand, I would like to see real FFVI-VIII style summons.

Completely turn based or active time battles. 1080p to 4k 2D sprite graphics. Set in medieval times. A great soundtrack by Nubuo Uematsu... I may have his name spelled wrong. No pretty boy teenagers. Normal towns with shops. The Final Fantasy theme music and classic victory theme music. No DLC. A  complete game in a package.A real FF, unlike XIII and XV.

This thread makes no sense. There have been 5 more games between the last 2D FF game and XIII, 4 of those are arguably the best era of FF, giving the best of the scifi side and medieval side. Normal towns, Nobuo Uematsu, no DLC, the complete package. Are you actually claiming 7, 8, 9 and 10(one of the few that is actual turn based), not real FF games?

Are you just trolling or that ignorant?

I don't mind the unwilling pretty boy protagonist. The one entity that wants to rule or destroy the world. And the journey to become a willing pretty adolescent protagonist that ends the threat.
Turn based and medieval would be nice for a change.
And of course something to do with an unreachable love interest.
Oh and an unexpected death of a playable character you have leveled to be your stongest.
Good music score made on one simple synthesizer. No pop songs, no bombastic tracks unless they are 'classical' and include a choir.

I just want characters with substance like in FFVI. Since that one no other FF has had characters that feel real except for the ones  in FF Tactics

Real Final Fantasy... does such a thing exist? So we put in the 'stables' of Final Fantasy, the stables are different depending on the person's views.

Sadly, I think SquEnix think this too. They'll add a Cid to the game and say "looks, it's the same".

I prefer ATB, self contained arena battles which are random, control of all party members (don't mind if main character has to stay FF7-9). Traditional Summons, magic names, as story told through the main character not via text inside the game or through a film before it. Steam punk.

Yet, due to sales of FF15, you really think we are going to have a game like FF3-9 again?

Hmm, pie.

I want proper FFX-2
