Nope. Hype was at an all time low before the event. After the event the hype died. I'll wait for a VitaTV version or whatever comes after Switch.

The possibilities are there, far more than I ever saw with the Wii or even Wii U, but right now Zelda isn't enough to get me to splash ~$500 on a system, controller, and game. If the 3DS support comes to Switch I think 2018 could be a monster year for the system.

For now have so many games to catch up on my PSV and PS4.

im excited because i am excited for every new device specially from nintendo

My excitement is recovering by the day. Was crushed by the hardware price announcement and incoming paid online multiplayer which will make Switch an offline console, unless I can use My Nintendo gold coins to purchase individual months.

At the common asking price of €330, Switch is €80 more than I expected. Still, that's €270 lower than the previous generation.

Hmm, that actually would be a great use for gold coins.

10 years greatest game event!

I'll wait until it's around $199

Looking forward to it. Video games aren't my go-to pastime nowadays but the device looks real nice and I think I can get some gaming on it on my down times.

I have a hard time playing on console nowadays. I don't like sitting before the television for too many hours so this thing might be a good fit.

I can't wait to complain about it on the internet!

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

That's a huge issue for me as well. I'm still suckling on the PS3 tit with Yakuza 5. And want to go back and restart FF XIII-2 some time down the road. The sheer volume of backlog reason, cancels out new system hype to a large degree. It's a good problem to have. And a nice way to measure consumer sanity. Given what has transpired in the last few days, the PS5 will be my next purchase. Being SO tied to the Sony ecosystem plays a role too. If the Switch didn't regress from the Vita in some ways, which it has, I would have bit. Nintendo REALLY need to ape the achievment/trophy system. It's such a no-brainer. There is no downside to it. Only positive. I doubt it happens tho. Because.....?????

Excited for a 199,- pure handheld revision if that doesn't happen I will switch away from nintendo after supporting them from the first console my dad bought me, the NES until my last purchase of the Wii-U which broke my faith and the switch hasn't changed that judging by the launch- price and lineup

Very excited.

It's basically a handheld PS3+. I rarely play online, so I'm not bothered by it.
