Yup, got one from Best Buy as soon as they opened pre-orders. Didn't get a game, but I'll most likely download Breath of the Wild via the eShop.

You guys know that high percentage of the pre-order are simply buyer with the intention of reselling the unit. Seem like Nintendo might go back to their old way of creating artificial scarcity.

Reselling only works if there is demand.

But Nintendo isn't doing any scarcity tactic. That is a stupid false falacy. Companies don't do that.

Got mine pre ordered with Zelda, Splatoon 2, ARMS and MK 8. As far as accessories, I don't know if I will like the Joy-Con grip, so why order the Joy-Con Charge grip until I am sure. If Pro Controllers are available I will just pick one up at the same time. Probably pick up another set of Joy-Cons too if they have them.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

Switch FC: SW-0398-8858-1969

Got my pre order from amazon germany right after it was up for pre-order. 20 min later it was sold out.

Intel Core i7 8700K | 32 GB DDR 4 PC 3200 | ROG STRIX Z370-F Gaming | RTX 3090 FE| Crappy Monitor| HTC Vive Pro :3

yup, got the notification from amazon and grabbed one, then happened by a gamestpo, walked in and was able to grab another.

I don't know where I saw it but I think Nintendo is supposed to have two million ready for launch. That's a pretty good amount in my opinion.

Yes. Alread talked to 3 guys doing this...1 is on this forum too! LOL

The price on the Switch needs to be 250 with a game or lower.

Son...you must be new to the video game industry.  The industry that proved the ET atari dump myth to be true. And nintendo as well as sega has been caught doing this.

Got mine on walmart because they didn't charge tax like Amazon did. But I did pre order Zelda on Amazon for that sweet 20% discount!!!

I am actually waiting this one out. I have had every other Nintendo console day 1, but wifey pre-ordered BOTW for me for Christmas, and while I will get a Switch eventually, I can be patient this go around. Not enough compelling games for me to get it on launch (other than BOTW).
