I done failed. Chances are I'll have a couple games ready to go on March 3rd and no console lol

Yep, I've pre-order it the day after the event. The guy in the store said to me he was sure the pre-orders will fly, and that they have really good numbers for the Switch. That happens with Nintendo stuff nowadays, so I kind of learn to be fast.

I got my pre order in 3 days before the Switch event.

I pre-ordered the Switch a while ago.

I did pre-order the pro controller and BOTW Limited Edition today though.

Yup. Me and my friend both managed to get one.

A lot of people did.

I chose to wait as there were some details that made me unsure if I wanted it day 1 post the presentation. Now that I am sure, I will just go to my local Walmart to pick one up. My Walmart is slower but always get good stock. Similar with black Friday deals and even the WiiU launch.

I show up a few hours before midnight, kick off a line and then get one. WiiU launch I was first in line (about an hour before anyone else showed) but they were turning people away at midnight. So I'll show up early and just hang out with my son who is also going to buy one.

Definitely, they had 40 at my Gamespot. Convinced the girl to put one aside for me for losing my game.

I got mine through Target. They still had some preorders open yesterday - but not today.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Pre-ordered the console and BOTW on Amazon at like 4am.

Still need to see if I can get a good case/screen protector and maybe a pro controller.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

You guys know that high percentage of the pre-order are simply buyer with the intention of reselling the unit. Seem like Nintendo might go back to their old way of creating artificial scarcity.
