Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Why on earth doesn't the Switch have camera's?

People have phones, so cameras are pretty much useless.

What happened to the Switch main feature being vr? Did they dump that idea to go with motion controls instead?

VR is dead.

Pretty sure that is something you came up with on your own. Nintendo never touted VR as a main feature.

Why on earth do people use apostrophes for plural?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Never used it on Wii U, and there's no point and why would you wait it more expensive?

With the more demanding games struggling to lock at 30fps, VR is out of the question, just as I said weeks ago when people were still insisting it was possible and that the hardware was fast enough.

That's such a shame because VR this gen is the motion controls of last gen.

I hardly ever use the camera on my tablet. Never used it on Wii u or 3ds so yeah. It's loss is not felt

The Nintendo app for your phone may use the camera and transfer images if necessary.

AR is pretty much a one trick pony. And what are you going to do? Take pictures with a tablet?

Joycon has a camera. Also, as a dedicated games device, and not a mobile computer, it really doesn't need a camera. Also, seeing how Nintendo promotes co-existing with mobile devices, instead of competing them, you likely have a mobile phone with a camera with you anywhere you take the Switch.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.
