I am thinking 4 terabytes...

I am almost done filling up my 2 terabytes on xbox one s. Imagine how much space we are going to need with the scorpio! All the 4k 60fps games with hdr and virtual reality. I cant wait! Im so glad microsoft is innovating and keeping the industry alive!

why are you conflating memory (ram) with storage (hdd) ?

It's not called memory, it's called storage (space) or something else. If you're talking about memory, you're usually talking about RAM.

Anyway, 1 TB should be a good start. It should suffice for a lot of people.

Glad somebody else knows what memory refers too

Pretty sure they meant permanent memory not temporary memory, but storage would have been more clear.

I would guess they go with 2TB HDD or SSHD.

I could potentially see Scorpio having a 500GB or less SSD, and anything more is up to you to buy and connect externally. This way the OS would be lightning fast, and your newest, most recent, or most popular games could be kept on the SSD for very quick load times. It would also allow you to swap games from the external to SSD and vice versa if you wished. That would take a while, but could be done in advance while playing another game or by using an online app when away from the console.
