Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Foxconn leak rumor turn out to be true for Switch hardware.

Desperation.

It's not desperation, no other leak stated anything about any colored controllers at all, except for this one, and they got the exact color correct.

Maybe eurogamers leakers has a previous dev kit, and foxconn leaker has a more recent dev kit or even the final product.

It was said that eurogamers was based on julys devkits, but that a stronger version went out in october.

Good lord, 4310 mAh. I expected something bigger than that on a 6.2" device.

Now I know where Nintendo skimped out, the battery. The worst place to skip out on.

You can't really fit much more onto that thing at the size it's at currently lol, the fuck are you expecting? Some Harry Potter wizardy shit? Not to mention that they didn't even tell us at what voltage it's running at, unless I missed something, so there is no accurate Wh number either, which is the actual important number.

Yeah the Galaxy Note 7 was a big phone and just about cramed a 3500mAh battery in it, so unless you want the Switch to explode I dont know what you were expecting. I dont think they could of done any better than 4310mAh battery.

Hope the 4G LTE thing ends up being true. Who knows. Maybe that's something the online fee enables. That would immediately justify the purchase for me.

If they do, wouldn't it be more expensive? I want the online fee as cheap as possible though.

Probably, but being able to play online games without a Wifi connection is well worth it to me.

I expected (read: hoped for) a battery 10% larger than that. The difference between 2.5 hours and 2.75 hours isn't large, but the difference between 6.5 hours and 7.2 hours is.

Besides, I just want large batteries in all my devices.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

:3

I wonder if the only thing holding the portable unit back from using the full 768 MHz or 900+ MHz is simply the battery?

Because man it would be awesome to have a model some day that could full clock in portable mode and go even higher in docked mode, the only issue is you'd be stuck with a bunch of Switch owners who have the old model, but maybe the work-around could be that they have to buy a larger battery pak to play certain games.

Haha, I love how some users talk about they wish Nintendo didn't screw it up and every time something positive and credible comes up it's strawgrasping.
