Atm sony  makes more, and Microsoft  ofcourse  makes more then  sony  and ninty combined

Are we talking only their gaming division?  If so, they still have a problem retaining it.

It's amazing how out of touch some people are and live in their bubble.

PSN made more money last FY than all of Nintendo combined. That's just PSN alone.

I am concern for both , but i care more on Nintendo。

It is only a few years ago that people made serious threads on vgchartz about how the wii U will end up selling more than xbox one.

Nintendo needs a lot of postive news and make some positive decisions for us gamers but they will not.

I won't be worried about Microsoft until they announce that the Scorpio is a full blown windows 10 PC that fits under your TV. Then their exit from console gaming will be complete.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

I'm not worried about Microsoft. All they need to do is cancel more games. The more they cancel the better for the gamers, right?

Seriously though, we should worry about diversity. There is not much diversity between Playstation and Xbox, so if one of them disappears it won't have that much impact on the overall gaming scene.
If Nintendo goes it would be terrible and i'm saying that as someone who has never owned a Nintendo console.

And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Some people take those "HD TWINZ" stuff REALLY out of proportion, seriously...

Yeah, it should have been "If Xbox disapperars.." i just wanted to sound more diplomatic :D

I just get the feeling Microsoft don't care anymore. They aren't aggressive anymore it's like they have just accepted defeat instead of trying to turn around their fortunes. Yeah the X1 had a bad launch but so did the PS3 and look at what Sony did to make sure that thing stayed competitive.

I guess people are more quick to jump into the "Nintendo is dead" bandwagon because they basically only sell consoles. Let's face it, if the X1 had sold zero units and MS had millions of unsold inventory it would still barely scratch their financial report. They have much more room to underperform before having to quit consoles. Also, notice that I said "quit". Nintendo and Sony would pretty much go bankrupt in the same scenario. In a similar way, people also were quick to consider Sony done after the PS3 and it could even be the case if they tried to be stupid this gen instead of hitting a home run.

Also, Nintendo has the most fragile position. MS has infinite cash, Sony has a global leadership and is usually way less prone to screw up their products (their worst shot at home console sold 80M). Nintendo has a strong position with handhelds but, unlike home consoles, they are suffering with the competition of mobile devices. Also, comparing the sales of 3DS and other consoles is pretty much ridiculous when the 3DS basically was 170 bucks 6 months after launch and reached as low as 100 bucks. The PS4 and X1 are basically 2 times more expensive now than 3DS was in 2012.

MS can always fall back to PC gaming at least. Sony doesn't really have that luxury, and despite the PS4 performing relatively well, I feel like they are in the most danger of becoming obslete, between their cinematic style of games being more of a past gaming trend than a present one, and their focus on TV-based gaming being eclipsed by the rising in popularity of mobile/tablet devices. And they simply haven't proved they can get near Nintendo in terms of competing with them in the handheld sector. They're also hurting in almost every other aspect of their company, and I feel like that's eventually going to trickle down to their games division as well.

I was thinking about it before the Switch's reveal. If Nintendo played the right cards, Microsoft could be the one in trouble. XOne sold and is selling pretty slow, but the Wii U sales make it seems normal in comparison. But this thing is really worrying. I don't want to see a world where Sony doesn't have a proper competition. And I really don't see more than two home consoles in the future. Microsoft and Nintendo need to have a big E3 this year.
