Man, even Waku Waku 7? What an obscure game, and so aawesoome. I'd love to have Metal Slug 6 on the switch. Still don't have that game.

You would like it

I'm dumbfounded that Nintendo didn't do a Virtual Console overview, what were they thinking?

My guess is that they do not consider SNES games hypeable for a big stage presenation. It is realy more the kind of thing a direct would cover.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

I remember playing Waku Waku 7 in arcade almost 20 years ago,

Yeah, I've played it and really like the game. It'd be nice to own on a console.

The proplem with this game is that it was never released outside of Japan

Nintendo has enough classic content to put any other console to shame in terms of retro content. Not just snes games bro. I mean, depending on who's developing the emulators, they could easily cover NES, SNES, 64, Gameboy/Color/Advance, Gamecube and possibly Wii.  And that's just for Nintendo. They can also easily cover Genesis/CD, Master System, Game Gear, Dreamcast, Turbografx 16/16-CD as well. Being able to have brand new Switch games and that back catalog of games on the go and at home is just too good of a prospect at this point.
