I hate Zelda, what a feudal rich princess who expects to be saved and served all the time and stole the name of the game from Link.
That said, I do want to screw her.

You dont need a Switch to buy Zelda. This is an issue for Nintendo. They'll have no other reason to buy it until December with Mario and the somewhat amassed library of Splatoon 2...and other titles. (Most of the games werent even finished for viewing so im trying to have hope here for Nintendo). With that said, I want the new Zelda, but ive pondered whether I wanted to get it on the switch or not. If Nintendo drops the Wii U price is could invest in that.

I'm buying a switch, but only because I will need one for work, I don't actually plan on buying any games for the thing.

I have never: played a mario, zelda or pokemon game through to completion, because every time I have tried, I got bored within a few hours and stopped playing.

I never really bothered to play Zelda much, but this new game seems unique.

Will probably play it on Wii U though.
