Probably because the ways that we have grown accustomed to experiencing rumble feedback hasn't really evolved much in dedicated gaming and it just feels mechanical.
Early impressions says that this was clearly the shinning spot for the Switch as it being something you have to try for yourself. That and the screen being very vibrant and high quality is a major plus after Jimmy-gate when all anyone could talk about was if the screen was cheap after seeing Fallon play BoTW off screen...
