Apparently it's also in the pro controller. Very neat.

I'd like to have a source of that as well.

That technology could be really cool with No More Heroes 3, if used right. It could feel as if you're actually holding a light-saber.

I remember now that many people were pissed that Nintendo waited so long to unveil the Switch and why would their competitors want to copy a hybrid design.

But clearly after all is said and done this is what they were alluding to...

Very few developers will make use of it and they are the biggest reason for the weak hardware en high price. Sounds like another Wii U scenario to me.

Probably.

Would also explain why the pro controllers (assuming it has them) is so expensive. How unfortunate.

I'm almost betting that Nintendo will announce that WiiU pro-controllers will work with the Switch in very small print somewhere...

Am i the only one who turns off rumble on every controller?

I don't bother to turn it off, don't miss it either when I happen to play on the one controller with broken rumble. It's only annoying when I put the controller down for a minute and it starts making one hell of a racket on the table and ends up on the floor soon after.

Perhps HD rumble can make the joycons move around in different directions on an ouija board :)

Crazy thing is where Nintendo were lost for words on what to do with the WiiU second screen, this definitely seems more up their alley on making creative games around.

Since I always turn vibration off in any game because I see it as a useless and annoying waste of battery resources, I do not really care about this feature. These gimmicks can ruin games when forced on the player.

That would make be buy a switch earlier. The idea of spending anywhere from $70 to $140 on news is just a no go.

I'm in at launch for BoTW, but when at Gamestop I said no way am I ever spending $70 for a pro-controller! That was before I read up on all of this technology they put into it and hearing people state that Splatoon 2 controlled better on the new pro-controller than it did with the Gamepad.

I know Nintendo has a history of being cheap to reduce costs, but for what it does they really put alot in the box for $299. I just think people have to stop judging it comparative only to stationary consoles and more to other devices that you can take on the go.

They will probably release cheaper controllers without HD vibration when they realise it doesn't add much to the gameplay. Same thing happened with the 3D-effect on the 3DS.
