Weapon degradation is hardcore and awesome. Not even Skyrim has this (while Oblivion had). I applaud this design.

Zelda is based on fantasy, medieval stories. Knights don't fight with hands. Also, it would beat the purpose of weapons, unless they make it super weak and dangerous... but then again, why would I fight hand to sword if I have more viable weapons...
