Does Any1 Else Think LoZ BotW Will Become this Gen's SMG/TLoU? (Or the best LoZ/Nintendo GOAT?

I mean that last trailer, we don't know anything about the game (excluding the demo area and some things in previous trailer), game is receiving a ton of praise already, biggest nintendo game evaaa... And much more that i dont even kno how to put in words lol.

Ive been hype for games before but something is much different this time around. I dont kno if its open world, not having a new 3d zelda in over 5 years, the game story thats a huge mystery (or the fact that this is wayyyy to emotional)

I blame that last trailer... Wtf sorry if not even thread worthy but wtf!

And PS im not high Rol!

Yes Pavo i know im right.

Without playing the game it already looks like a top 10 of my games of all time :o

The legend of zelda breath of the wild will be the ocarina of time of this generation. The last of us 2 will be The last of us of this generation and super mario odyssey will be the super mario galaxy of this generation.

I was thinking about Breath of the Wild and I think that this could be on of the best Zelda games ever made and one of Nintendo's finest. Though a lot of people might not be ready for the overload this game is giving. I've always loved the symbolism that is in the Zelda games but this one looks like it's going to be a mental mind fuck of an acid trip. The new Zelda appearance was LOOOOOOOONG over due. As was Link wearing a blue tunic. It's so fitting with the theme of the game and the lore of the series. The vibes this game is giving is very mature and as a lot of fans seem to agree. It might not be for everyone, or maybe everyone will just find something for them in this game.

Not only is Breath of the Wild rumored to be the final game in the timeline. There's some things that's leading me to believe its an accumulation of everything Zelda to date.

I'm curious about the Calamity Ganon. Is he like Phantom Ganon in Wind Waker? Or is that Ganon's soul of pure darkness? Akin to a Djinn? With light being a hugely prominent in this game with shades of blue, there's a good chance that's what it could be. Or at least a part of his spirit at the first least.

No. Because the game still looks behind in times.....while catching up to what most games have already done. Also with how empty that works looks.....seems like the world would be really really boring. Open world aspect looks bad imo
I've loved all the console Zeldas/Links up to this point....and am worried about this one.

It looks amazing. I have not been this excited for any game since the reveal trailer of twilight princess. I teared up seeing both games trailers out of sheer excitement and joy. Something about this Zelda beyond nostalgia makes me feel an anticipation that I havent felt since I was a child on christmas eve.

So yeah I do .

Who is John Galt?

3DS Friend Code : 2535-4338-9000

AMD FX 8150 , 8 GB DDR3 Kingston Memory,  EVGA GTX 560 TI 2 GB superclocked, Samsung 256 GB SSD

I think it has the potential, I do not see another title coming close to what you describing beside RDR2 and TLOU2 at this stage. Remotely nothing.

Eh, it is also coming out for WiiU, so .. not really? I haven't liked Zelda since LTTP. N64 killed Zelda for me.

Complete opposite for others :p

Not for me since I think TLOU 2 will take the game of the gen trophy. As for the best Zelda, I think it will be the best since orcarina of time.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
