I assume that 1080p for the Switch version is when the system is docked and you're playing it on the TV.

Yeah it says in the article, "However, when you play in TV mode, the resolution of the screen and sound quality go up."

Please look at the story again. It is not confirmed, IGN itself says so. Also Aonuma never mentions 1080p. Why can't you people at least read the article you're basing an entire thread on? It's like 100 words long.
