Zelda pretty much makes it a damn good lineup......if it weren't for the fact that you can play it on Wii U.

As a launch Line up yeah, not even one exclusive ,even 3DS had à better Line up
Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:
PS4: 17m XB1: 10m WiiU: 10m Vita: 10m
Probably kinda a wash between this and N64 (only Mario 64 and Pilotwings 64).
I'm gonna say yes, just because Mario 64 was so revolutionary at least.
It's not the best, but not the worst either. I recalling looking up older launch line ups, like the NES, SNES, Genesis, etc, and those weren't that great either. Most of them did have that one killer app, and Zelda U can def be that for the Switch. There are also quite a bit of games in the spring area, so it's not thaat bad.
Dance my pretties!

It lacks in number, but if Zelda is as good as Zelda normally is, its potentially the best launch lineup since the original Xbox with Halo, maybe.
Actually look back at the PS4/Xbone launch lineups. Sure, they had numbers, but really none of the games are memorable. PS4 had Resogun, Xbone had Dead Rising? Ryse? Peggle 2?
And 1, 2 Switch looked very fun. Then you have Bomberman.
The wii u had a far better launch than the switch: http://m.ca.ign.com/wikis/wii-u/Wii_U_Launch_Games_(US)
Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
Seems better then xbox 360's from what I can remember. But only if you like zelda and want it portable due to travelling 😂
onionberry said: yeah, cause mario bros wii u and nintendoland are way better than zelda, mario, splatoon 2, xenoblade 2, mario kart deluxe and all the other stuff. /s |
He's talking specifically about the launch day releases. Not what's allegedly coming for all of 2017.
Mario is coming a month+ after launch, which makes zero sense considering it's a port with a BIT of new content. Splatoon 2 isn't coming until "Summer", Mario until "Holiday", and Xenoblade honestly probably won't even make a 2017 release, if Nintendo's track record in recent years counts for anything.
So while they have already stated more games will be announced, and while Zelda looks amazing, outside of Zelda, yes, that launch DAY lineup, as it stands now, looks weak compared to the launch of Wii U or Wii, at the very least.
It's not good
Decent lineup, but launch isn't good
