The Dreamcast may have been the first to have a rudimental online structure, but there's no denying that MS revolutionized console online gaming with XBox Live. Making it easy to use, practical, and made it a key element of the console itself. It made it an infrastructure that has now been mimicked by the other consoles. There was no such thing on the Dreamcast.

There was actually and MS modeled itself after SEGANET. From the downloadable games to the DLC. They just improved greatly on it. Everything about Xbox was modeled after Dreamcast. It was nearly BC with all DC games. It nearly had a VMU. They used DC's in focus groups making the thing and took many notes from SEGANET.

The Dreamcast ran Windows CE. Which helped greatly to port Dreamcast games to it. Because both had a similar hardware setup and Sega was using MS software to drive the Dreamcast. -___-

But that's beside the point. Being first to incorporate something doesn't make it a revolution. MS revolutionized console online gaming. Sega may have paved the way for whoever, but MS is the one that did it right, and made the others take notice.

That's not what this is about. It's about the belief that only Nintendo innovates and the others only copy.

Which again, does not exist as every Nintendo fan knows. Nintendo has copied or inspire from other companies: dual triggers, dual sticks, discs, even BotW follows some western developers designs.

Dual triggers? Dual sticks?... Those aren't innovations. Those are evolutions.

I didn't say all Nintendo fans do it, did I? I said it's usually Nintendo fans who push for that kind of notion.

Now, show me examples of people who do the same for Sony of MS.

That's a strange way to argue. You have yet to name a single name that fits the behavior you have described, but go on to demand an example from Pavolink.

Considering what Superman4 posted in this thread, an example of someone who glorifies Sony and Microsoft as gods is in plain sight, so your request was also completely redundant.

You of all people come in to say that?

You're one of the perfect examples of that behavior.

Evolutions or revolutions, Nintendo has also copied and every Nintendo fan knows about it. Even some have asked for online features from Sony/MS ecosystem.

Once again, the premise of your OP is false.

Duh. Maybe you don't remember but DC having online was a huge deal. It was revolutionary. Since you like to patronize and treat me like I'm an idiot. You no longer exist to me. You are on ignore.

Still mad about the other day, when I debunked your claim about the N64 controller?

Guys, you should go Nintendomination thread.

Yes, they did. That's irrelevent though. I'm not saying that Nintendo did or didn't copy the other. I'm saying it is usually Nintendo fans [I'll specify that I don't mean all of them, since it seems that's what you think I'm saying] who act like Nintendo is the only one to innovate and the others only follow and/or copy.

It seems like you have just decided to acuse the Nintendo fanbase of being like that without proof. And nothing will change. But that is not a surprise, we are acused for many other false things.
