Shin Megami Tensei, similarly, is a game which has barely started development. In no way will that hit launch window. I doubt Project Octopath Traveller will hit it either. Fire Emblem Warriors showed no footage either so don't get your hopes up on that one.

You also seem to have included late ports in "notable releases" for Switch like I am Setsuna, a game which under-performed everywhere else it released; and not games which launched with PS4/XB1 and will have outsold it handily such as Injustice or Japanese launch titles for PS4 like Yakuza Ishin or Dynasty Warriors 8 XL.

Also, NBA 2K14 also released on PS4.

Just wanted to leave a note that fire Emblem Warriors might get footage next week with the direct.But I somewhat agree with the rest.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I did read your thread that's why I know you used 9 month and called it launch window. I actually think you have an very interesting thread but you should of used only Launch window. I'm sorry but your thread title clearly claim that your comparing launch windows and that's not what you did. I just wish you would of focus on only comparing launch windows titles would much more interesting. It's clear why you want to use 9 month window instead of launch window... it benefits the Switch and your cutting of the XO & PS4 at the end of summer where no games get release.

9-month launch window? Isn't that too long?

Anyway. Mario Odyssey or Zelda:BOTW or Xenoblade 2 or even Splatoon 2, each one, alone by themselves and if they live up to expectations, destroys anything the PS4 had before Bloodborne, which came out 16 months after the PS4 launch.
