Never watched King of Queens, and while BBT isn't as good as it was in the early seasons, I still like it.

Weird comparison, though. Friends and Boy Meets World are my favourite sitcoms.

King of Queens is actually surprisingly clever. It's based on the same old Honeymooners paradigm, but the situations are pretty unique. You have some pretty offbeat stuff like Carrie trying to control Doug's masturbation fantasies, Spence two timing Adam West with Lou Ferigno, or a trip to stop a wedding in Vegas that features one of the best endings of any sitcom.

Big Bang Theory is just dumb. It's a generic sitcom with some science words thrown in. Despite the fact that it's about nerds, there's really nothing smart about it. Name dropping Stephen Hawking doesn't make for a smart show.

King of Queens is a smart show about dumb people. Big Bang Theory is a dumb show about smart people.

Never been a fan of Queens.

BBT is great, though. As a whole. Last couple seasons have been meh imho.

Not a fan of either one since I hate sitcoms that use laugh tracks but if I had to pick one I choose The King of Queens.

It's always sunny/the office/workaholics/Rick & Morty do it better


But I do like both shows. My vote goes toward Big Bang since they have faux nerd jokes that are usually more relatable to my age group.

That 70s show is probably the best doe. There was also another with a black family, funny father, hot daughter, aired like 10 years ago.
