As a member of this site I've read countless times from various persons that the day they have to pay for online is the day the quit console gaming.

Some of them also had some not so kind words for remasters and thought that the only ones justfiable are those of games that came out more than a decade ago. Now we see that's not the case for Nintendo games either. How do you feel about remasters of Wiiu games?

Do you still plan on quitting or are you planning on buying a Switch anyway at some point?

Well me, kinda, I'm not interested in the Switch and the Xbox One.
I play mostly on PC, I'm thinking about a PS4, but I have been thinking for so long that I'm wondering if I'll really make the jump one day lol.

So I guess that's it, I'm a PC gamer now, after being a Nintendo gamer for more than 25 years...

I love mario games.... that one mario game is the only reason (right now) Im tempted to get a switch.
It sucks to have to say that, right after a console reveal by nintendo.

Im holding off though, that price is too much for what their selling (europe prices ouch).
Nintendo will need to drop the price, and wow me with single player games.

As for the online thing... Im not paying for a subscription to be able to play splatoon & mario kart.
It just means I wont be buying those games (ei. forced sub for online = nintendo lost my sales in those games).

I suspect mario kart, splatoon, smash will sell less, on the switch now, than they would had online been free.

I'm not very interested in the ports either tbh. The paid online sucks, but I don't play much online anyway. Mario Kart is pretty much the only Nintendo game I play online. Ill just play it for free on WiiU.

That's a shame but understandable. Thankfully for me paying online is not necessary as I hate online gaming. But ps+ is worth it at the moment so I have no problem paying for it.
