So I pre ordered Gravity Rush 2 because I thought it looked pretty neat. I wanted to know if was necessary to finish the original before moving on? I played about 4-5 hours on the Vita but the controls and combat put me off, from what I can tell from gameplay footage it looks like they have fixed that. 

So my question is should i go back and finish it? does the story continue or so you think id be safe to move on?

I realize Gravity Rush 2 isn't out yet so some users might not know.

The story continues. But the original did end with a lot of plotholes iirc. There are several characters from the first game which will return in the sequel.

Well I love the first one. You can lower the games sensitive to help with its controls and combat plus its not a long game. And yes this thread is a heaven from all those switch thread in the front page :P

Which version did you play?

The vita of course ;P

I don't think you need to skip GR2 without the first, but you could give GR Remastered a shot if you like GR2.
