Forums - Nintendo Discussion - 349€? Really? Then keep it.

€329 here in Holland, way, way too much for what it is, should have been at least €100 cheaper.

Well I am not very confident in the NX I think Nintendo will go multiplat sooner or later. And have their games on all devices. Maybe make some sort of Nintendostreaming service. Where you pay a monthly fee to get access to many Nintendo games.

I simply can not see the NX have any meaningful success.  I also think the price is way to high for what it is. This seems more like a 199/249 device for me.

But I also thought the WII would not be a success. On the other hand everybody was super hyped before it came out I dont see that right now with the NX.

They are trying the 3DS-launch scenario again but this time its calculated, thats why they only have 2 millions Switches at launch to create high demand. If its not working they will lower the price asap and release more than enough units

I'd be totally fine with 249€/$. But looks like Nintendo needed to put all that motion control stuff and so on into the Joycons no one wants anymore...

Decisions like that keep the costs high.

Too expensive overall, in all countries

I don't think they can do this again though, Nintendo said with the 3DS that they never wanted to do that again, if they price collpase again quickly after launch it's going to (rightfully so) anger early adopters.

Problem is, they repeat basically everything. Pricing as well as games. Ok, the latter one at least if you own Wii U or didn't care that much about it's games.
Well, i'm patient...

It's way way too much for a Nintendo console.

Even the PS4 and Xbox one are now being sold for less.

The Switch is even more expansive than the Wii U. Epic failure from Nintendo salesmen.

What is the alternative, if the price shouldn't match the demand? Insist on the not accepted price and cripple the hardware base?

$470 here in Australia, no joke.

Day one purchase, no regrets.

ARMS!!!
