Is the launch year so the Switch will have high(er) numbers

but the PS4 momentum hasn't really slowed yet so not sure..

How can you say all these things when for instance Mario kart has sold more than 8m on Wii u? Outselling Uncharted 1,2,3 on ps3 which had the septuple installbase, also MK8 could have won even the 4 if wii u had still life ( it has an attach rate of 61%, which was increasing every quarter, so what if wii u had ended with 2-3m more sales ? )

Does anyone honestly believe the Switch will sell 17-18 million in about 10 months? Some people need to seriously lower their expectations if that's the case. That's like 70-80% more than the DS' first full year and slightly more than the Wii's first full year, that's really, really unrealistic.

Switch might sell out PS4 in the first 6 months but only because the PS4 Pro is out of stock in many countries.

Some people may just combine wii u launch sales and 3DS first full year...

Which would be arbitary.

Some people who own a wii u also own a 3ds ( if not the overwhelming majority ) and then switch  price isn't really for only handheld consoles gamers... Even 250$ wouldn't be!

Nah, I think it will do well, but PS4 will take this year mainly because Switch is launching in March and Nintendo is bad with shipments. Also, PS4 will probably peak this year so it will be very hard to surpass it.



Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

The dock is sold by US$ 90, maybe removing it could save 50 bucks. Around the Switch's launch date, PS4 is even getting Horizon, Mass Effect and For Honor. Nintendo has to cut the price ASAP or they will be absolutely destroyed in sales.



Bet with jetforcejiminy: PS4 will pass the Wii lifetime numbers.

I don't stoop to these crap bait posts. I don't limit myself to a brand and boast proudly. I enjoy everything form everyone. Only thing that sucks are people's attitudes.
