Forums - Gaming Discussion - 2017 PS4 VS SWITCH.

Which system will sell the most in 2017

Ps4 468 77.87%

Switch 93 15.47%

XBOX!!! 40 6.66%

Total:601

Now that  we know when the switch  will be released  and how much it will cost+ a bunch of games including  zelda, and xenonblade 2 releasing 2017.

With  ps4 going  to have one of the best years In gaming  ever with  the amount  of games it's  getting.

I do wonder, wich one will be ontop worldwide?

The price needs to be lowered like it was with the 3ds. Nintendo's gotta learn to sell at a loss.

not trying to be rude be the switch is not even out and the ps4 is the best selling console since 2013, we will have to wait to see the reception. but ok... I guess that March and April switch is going to win.

Best Buy and Walmart already sold out. Some interesting games so hard to say. Sony released all the hardware last year. VR is already a fading memory. Pro exists but not much more. Switch is new. If it doesn't sell better than PS4 From March to December it will do a XBO and beat it for a few months.

I don't believe that you actually wonder. Please don't lie to us.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Due to the Switch's pricing and available games I don't only expect the PS4 but also the XB1 to absolutely stomp on it sales wise worldwide.

Then start  believing, switch  needs  a couple  more big exclusives  from Japan + pricedrop and i will buy one.

The Wii U has the same price tag as the Switch and currently has more games compared to Switch yet it still sell like shit.

If Switch suffered the lack of software from both 1st party and 3rd party I could see a Wii U 2 is gonna happening. Hope I'm wrong.

A handheld gamer only (for now).

The Switch is more expensive, with an incoming price surprise ("You'll have to pay for online later... We'll talk about how much you own us then!"), expensive accessories, no big exclusive game at launch (Zelda being on Wii U too), almost no third party support (Skyrim 6 months later, yeah...).

The launch could be okay because all the big Nintendo fans will buy it. After that, it could sell really badly to the broad audience. Why would you pay more for a console less powerful and without games? (OK? let's be nice... with really really really really really really really really really really fewer games?)

It would be surprising if it sells more than the PS4. March and maybe April should be won by the Switch, but I don't think it will be enough to compensate all the other months.
