Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Extra Dock $89.99!!!!! Switch Pro controller $69.99, Joycon set $79.99. Updated 2x!

Extra dock is certainly interesting. Did not expect that at launch. So a standalone handheld Switch without dock or the joycon holder should be around 200.

$70 for a new controller, fuck that.

Yeah, this makes sure of it. Anyway, that's a bad point. What if you want to be able to play on two TVs in different rooms? If the dock was cheap, you could just have two.

Take the dock to the next room. Its designed to be portable.

Thats sacrificing confort. One of the best idea was just to tell the kids to get the Switch of your tv and go use the basemant tv. Now you have to move the entire thing like any other console.

Nintendo Switch Pro Controller -- $59.99

Joy-Con Controller Sets -- $49.99

Individual L/R Joy-Con Controllers -- $29.99

Joy-Con Charging Grip -- $24.99

Nintendo Switch Dock Set -- $59.99

Joy-Con Wheel (Set of 2) -- $14.99

I will edit the prices to what I would be willing to pay for them.

That being said, I don't know crap about how pricing of these things work.

Your prices still look too expensive :(

Willing means the highest I would go and be reasonably comfortable that I didn't spend too much.

edit: This is also under the assumption that each of these products are well-built and don't feel cheap.

How do you do that with your PS4 or XB1?

Easy. Stream it to my Vita TV. You know, an actual console that costs less that this dock.

Prices are insane. Nintendo lost it. And lost me till they do another 3DS-type of turns.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

So if you want two controllers this thing is more expensive than a PS4 or Xone S. Hell for me it comes close to the price of the PS4 pro, since I always want a pro controller for a Nintendo console.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Accessory prices are insane... Dock and controller.

The dock, is basically a charging station and HDMI/USB pass-thru.
Yet they are charging almost HALF the price of the full console (which includes a dock) for a 2nd dock!
Or like Scicsa's comparison, it's more than the price of FULL CONSOLE! (Vita TV)

Seriously, if people are able to use the tablet with a smaller portable USB charger,
I expect it to be more popular to just buy a whole new Switch and
sell the tablet/controller part to somebody who only wants to use it as portable...
rather than buy a 2nd dock on it's own to use for 2nd TV or if yours gets broken/lost somehow.

Japanese police narcotics need to head down to Nintendo headquarters, cause they smoking some crazy shit...

The cables aren't.

I don't, it's a huge pain. They're not supposed to be portable though, but Switch is.
