My theory is Kimishima is trying to bury this thing into the ground as quick as possible so he can just do what he knows to do best, make sensible business decisions. Iwata, I love you man but this...this isn't going to fly. At least not in the US. If things don't take form after March, Nintendo's got another Wii U on their hands.

AFter looking here, only thing over-priced is the dock. The grip or console is what charges the joy-cons.

insane prices. No one is going to buy an extra set of tiny Joycons for 80$.  A pro controller at 70$? what makes it so special? the comparable Sony and Xbox controllers are like 60$ and under, and the Switch Pro Controller looks a LOT like the Xbox controller.

They are literally pricing out casual gamers here. someone wanting to buy a Switch for their two kids would have to pay 299$, then pay another 80$ for some other form of controller. 

Did anyone see how tiny those Joycon controller ends are? 80$? Jesus
