Forums - Sony Discussion - I did it. I finally bought a Vita

Should have waited for the Switch, but I hope you enjoy your purchase!!

I know but I couldn't see Switch will be priced at 100 dollars lol. Plus Nintendo games are usually expensive. Since I'm going to college I opted Vita instead since it's much cheaper, although the memory card is very expensive.

Buy Killzone out of respect for the team being closed.

Also it's a super fantastic FPS that is better than many console FPS.

Great handheld, I've got one, I recommend you both Muramasa and Odin Sphere.

Gonna add Killzone and Muramasa to my wishlist, gonna search about Odin Sphere and see if it interest me.

There might only be like 15m PS Vita users, but they buy games for it, and 3rd party carry it.

So with only 15m userbase I shouldn't expect online multiplayer game on Vita , if any

After got a good deal for around 100 buck, I finally become one of the guy that, despite the mightiness of the 3ds, still interested in purchasing a Vita. Since my Vita hasn't arrive yet, I can't make a review for now. Pls recommend me some good games on Vita. Any genre is accepted but I prefer 3d graphic over 2d. Plus I also prefer action RPG over turn based RPG.

Here's my current wishlist

-Gravity Rush

-Wipeout 2048

-Tearaway

-FF X/X-2 HD remaster

-Persona 4 Golden

-Killzone Mercenary

-Muramasa

I already have God Eater and Neptunia Rebirth 1-3 on PC

You say the Vita hasn't yet arrived, if the Vita comes and the firmware is on 3.60 or lower you should know that it's possible to enjoy all of the systems games without paying more than the initial entry fee, but you give up some features then such as online multiplayer and remote play (for now at least, although I think there is a fix to remote play)

If interested maybe google Gba or Temp or maybe even the two of those together and check out any Vita sections there.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

better late than never...you got some serious catching up to do

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

I'm 12, what's a Vita?

That explains a lot.

Welcome to the greatest handheld ever made! Play mine nearly every day for years now and no signs of slowing. The official thread here is a great place for games and news on the Vita.

Well, if you live Muramasa, then you have to get Odin Sphere, it's the prequel, that's been remade for vita, it looks amazing and plays brilliantly!

Great purchase mate, definitely try Soul Sacrifice out! One of my favorite Playstation Vita games. :)

I put some 100h into Freedom Wars, so if you have the time and want to get into a hunting game I can recommend this. Though after 100h its pretty much just a grindfest and there is not much to do unfortunately. But I enjoyed it throughout.

Also I played old ps1 games like ff7 ff9 tomba1/2 they look great on the vita.

edit: Actually don't play it (freedom Wars) its too addictive
