Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Dangit Microsoft

This is kinda a rant forum. However I just need to say this. I am really mad at Microsoft right now. The reason that I am mad at them is because they decided to cancle ScaleBound if you didn't know. Now the thing is, this game was my most anticipated game for the entire year, and I wanted more than anything to play a game that looked this awesome with my friends. I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt, and assume they have a really good reason for doing this. However I am still kinda really pissed. How you guys feel about this?? Also if any of you know anything more about it, or intentions behind it, please let me know.

I'm sure Kamiya and MS just couldn't work out their creative differences.

Let's wait for Laura Kate Dale. She'll solve the case!

I would be pissed if they cancelled Zelda BOTW on the Wii U!!!!!!!! Im kidding! Im getting the switch version for obvious reasons! XD

But I get how you feel. Its worse than a game not getting localized/translated

Pocky Lover Boy!

I feel for you. I couldn't help but feel quite shocked, and a bit disappointed it happened. It seemed like a really anticipated title for the XBO, and seeing it canceled now... just seems like it sucks.

Scalebound was cancelled?!

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Definitely a blow to us Xbox gamers, but we know Microsoft always comes to surprise us with something to make us feel better. I have faith this E3 will be one to remember.

I love PG and although I don't have an X1, I feel bad for those people who do and were waiting for this. My friend who swears by MS was waiting for this since the first showing at E3.

It's hard to say who is to blame for it. There is so much speculation and so many rumours it's hard to say for sure.

What I do feel is that this game looked less impressive compared to the other games PG had made. The combat didn't look as tight, the 4 player co-op and mp didn't make sense, we didn't see any rpg elements in action and I couldn't see how it was an openworld game. It was the concept that seemed great and that's essentially what people bought into - a PG RPG with crazy combat, Dragon's and big bosses.

I'm hoping PG survive the fallout and Nier sells well enough to carry them through. As for X1 owners, I hope they have something other than a F2P game or another Forza this year. I can't see Crackdown 3 releasing in 2017 unless it's Scorpio only and Halo Wars has never been a big AAA game.

Whoever is to blame for this, this game must have been incapable of launching this year for MS to pull the plug during a year that is so thin on AAA offerings on their system.

Just like how they won e3 2014 by showing us cancelled games and games that wouldnt release until 3 years after reveal(something Sony never did with Delaystation 4 except Last Guardian ofc)
