I love Silent Hill, the original. And regardless of all the failed more recent attempts, I still love the series in general because of its atmosphere. And then there's Siren which was a pleasant surprise. I own both the PS2 version and PS3 remake in which the PS3 remake was the first import game I had ever bought. And because it was Siren, it made it all worth it. In fact, it's my prized possession of all my PS3 titles. Both the original SIlent Hill and Siren were directed by Keiichiro Toyama.
I later heard of VITA gem called Gravity Rush. I haven't done much research on it, but from what I've heard it was one of the most innovative games on the VITA, and most any VITA owner shouldn't be without it. Now, there's the PS4 remastered verision which is on my want list, and there's the newer Gravity Rush 2. And after all this time until I came across a recent gaming article, I never knew that was a Keiichiro Toyama franchise. How in the hell did I not know this, and why didn't anyone tell me? I had faith that Gravity Rush was a great game, but now I know it's a great game because director Keiichiro Toyama was behind it. Thinking that life was all guns and roses, I never realized I was so deprived until this revelation. Ignorance isn't bliss. Now, let me sit in a corner while I drive a chisel through my skull.
