Is Sony throwing a punch at Microsoft over the Scalebound cancellation?

I tend to find Sony to be very petty. They always pull crap like this even though they are winning the console war. Yet they are right there rubbing salt into the wounds. It makes me lose interest in their products.

When was the last time they pulled this? 2013 the "how to trade games" joke? What did they pull before that?

  • Deadliest high school shooting in US history (02/14/2018)
  • Deadliest massacre of Jews in US history (10/27/2018)
  • Political assassination attempt of TWO former presidents(and 10+ other people)  (10/23/2018 - and beyond)

Saw people on gaf saying this quote is related to the previous game nier 1 and drakengar that is related to this game.

I didnt played those games so i cant confirm, or care xD

But carry on with the outrage xD

That's a reference to Drakengard... At least, that's what I got.

Ugh. I find this more annoying than hilarious. How are you gonna insult a game you were working on?

Sony isn't working on the game. Platinum and Square are. Sony has no real direct involvement.

Not sure this is a jab at Microsoft...

Ah, I get it now. Its a polish joke, right? My pet cockroach knows better polish jokes.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

Wether it is or not... we don't know, because the drakengard games are prequals to the Nier games.

If it was a jab, it was a pretty clever one.

I lol'ed at any rate. I think you are all too serious. I doubt PG will close and i'm sure they will find a way to salvage this.

Sony has a very long history.

“Simple minds have always confused great honesty with great rudeness.” - Sherlock Holmes, Elementary (2013).

"Did you guys expected some actual rational fact-based reasoning? ...you should already know I'm all about BS and fraudulence." - FunFan, VGchartz (2016)

Nier is based off Drakengard. While I have never played one, I am reading about it on wikipedia.

Apparently a dragon played a big part in Drakengard.

So I personally think it isn't even an insult. It is just saying "There are no dragons, but there are machines".

COuld be a Drakengard refference (I think Nier is a spinoff), anyway, stealth trolling/punch if they can hide it with that excuse
