The PS4 and the Pro are popular here in the Philippines, too. I visited a few stores that sell games for reasons, and only a Toys 'R' Us had stock of the Pro left. (I'm willing to bet it's because they mark up on everything, at around 5-10% except Nintendo hardware for some reason)
They may have underestimated demand simply because of the fact that the Philippines is a (relatively) poor country to, say, the US.

I live in a small town in England. I peered into my independent game shop, it was closed,nighttime and lights were off but I couldn't see any PS4 Pros inside. This pretty confirms the PS4 Pro in England is a sell out.
And for anybody that wants to debunk my evidence by saying "But SWORDF1SH! How did you see inside if it was at night?". I borrowed a match off the local hobo, Ok!

It momentarily came back in stock on amazon Japan and it flew up the charts before quickly going back to scalpers units only. The demand is real.

Once again this week it did another 8-10k on mediacreate. It hasn't matter if it was holiday week or not sales haven't gone up or down always in that range.

It's clear as day, demand is not being met.

i previously said the ps4 pro could be found in gamestop when i check in december but it looks like gamestop ireland is out of stock for the online models.

sony just announced 401m software units sold. they also apoligised in their statement for not being able to meet supply for PSVR and PS4 Pro. So whatever number, i think 53m, of ps4 they've sold. they definitely could have sod higher.

I completely agree with the last part. 

With readily available supply of PSVR snd PS4 Pro, sales definitely would have been higher. I fully believe this is the reason we didn't see PS4 having the sales gap over XBO that people were expecting.

I think Sony may be in good position if they can keep supply chains full going forward. Resident Evil 7, Horizan, MLB The Show, and many other games coming out over the next few months should really show the benefits of the Pro. If they can get Gran Turismo out in the first half, it will be huge for pushing PS4 Pro and PSVR.
