At the moment you aren't any better than guys who say that Switch won't have any games because multiplatform titles won't be coming.

Without games?

Care to define "without" because last time I checked the Xbox One has plenty of games and a lot of good games are coming this year (exclusives or not)?

I'm not trying to pick a fight. Of course it will have games. But where are the games to set it apart from Sony, which gets all the multiplats PLUS many third-party exclusives PLUS lots of first-party content?

And Microsoft doesn't need Xbox anymore. It has served its purpose and then failed to establish itself as market leader, so the strategy changes. For Microsoft there's no point in winning in the video games market for the sake of video games.

You're probably right. I guess Xbox was always a Trojan horse to take over the living room/deny it to Sony. It was a means to an end.

Glad it has a good spec , Xbox fans  need good news because many games IP's and exclusive are gone and can be playable on PC. I hope the spec can blow people mind like having new gen graphic LOL . And hope Microsoft can gain some a little traction on consoles sales and atract people who love powerful consoles.

People already say you cant see a differnce between 900p on Xbox one vs 1080p on PS4.

Now its going to be 1800p (checkerboarded 4k) on PS4pro  vs 2160p (native 4k) on Xbox Scorpio.

But the differnce in image quality between 900p vs 1080p is bigger than the 1800p vs 2160p (deminishing returns on scaleing resolution up).


It will need games that showcase it more positively than just the 3rd party multi plats.

The Scorpios CPU is going to be 6tf+ which is 40% more than PS4 but tf's are not created equal and a vega gpu at 6tf will have about double the performance than the ps4 pro's. Then the one will have at least 40% more bandwidth than the pro. CPU is an unknown but let's assume it's 40% more powerful than the ps4 pros. All this means the difference between the 2 will be a lot more than 1800p with checkerboarding vs 4k. A lot more.



Halo MCC will sell 5+ million copies(including digital)

halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

Yup agree, third party games will not able to utilize it full, and unfortunatly Microsoft will not make  Xbox Scorpio exclusives games, Because the base for the games is still Xbox One games.

Yup agree, third party games will not able to utilize it full, and unfortunatly Microsoft will not make  Xbox Scorpio exclusives games, Because the base for the games is still Xbox One games. 

Sadly you are probably right. Very few first party games to showcase the power.
