Well I make it a point not to preorder stuff. Also, I never buy systems at launch either. Most importantly, I would hope most people wait at least until the 12th before considering pre-orders. Without detail you really shouldn't resolve to buy the system or never buy the system

Could just cancel the pre-order if it turns out to not look good. Better to be early with the pre-order in case it becomes a hot item.

With the way, Nintendo has been handling stocks of their items, I see your point. Though really I think that Nintendo would attempt to make sure they have no shortages unlike other products.

They said they will ship 2 million consoles in the first month world wide, so I pre-ordered early.

How much do you think they will be going for on ebay? 

Makes sense, but when they ship it out in March, its going to be at least halfway into the month. Regardless of that I also think Nintendo is planning to observe criticism and approval, will probably add more. The last thing I think they want to do is the sell the console off short

EDIT: Though at the end of the day, yeah go for it; its better to be safe than sorry

I'll wait for the presentation on the 12th/13th where I live and if I like what I see I might get one.

This woul be the first console I get at launch. I usually don't buy consoles at launch, but if this is a fully realized handheld/console hybrid with the software suport from Nintendo to back it up, then it'll have all my favourite game on it eventually.
