Forums - Sony Discussion - Little disapointed with Uncharted 4 ( some spoilers ) review.

I would have liked even LESS gunfights. They are tedious and Uncharted does not have the best mechanics in this regard. Seriously, where the fuck are all of these mercenaries coming from? If Rafe and Nadine are able to afford ALL of these mercenaries, then why do they even need the treasure? They are loaded!

Nadine looked quite fit and strong.

Realistically I dont see how Nathan could have kicked her ass ^^^ lol

But Nathan has fingers of steel

Whaat come on seriously.. Nathan Drake is Captain America and with all the shit he's been through you expect me to believe that some woman just because she has muscles and she's a leader of an army can kick his ass ?? I'm sorry i just don't buy that.

Lol if you liked that you should play Uncharted 2 because in that game the amout of soldiers you fight is ridiculous, and i actually think that ND did a fine job in tuning that down this time that's probably why people complain including myself that here aren't many shootouts in the game they just wanted UC4 to be more realistic in that regard.

Also it's explaind in the game why Rafe want's the treasure so bad and why Nadine is helping him. :)

Thé réal flaw of thé game is to have by far thé best gameplay, thé best gunfights of thé série but to not use it enough, you are like " damn, why arent there more of thèse orgasmique gunfights i love "( well close to libertalia there are a lot but not enough before ).
Also id say thé best boss fight of thé série with thé most charismatic bad guy

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

i agree, the exploring bits were stretched out a bit too long. but the gunplay and gameplay was fantastic, so was the level desgin. it also had a little less set pieces than i would have liked, but the amazing gunplay and gameplay made up for that. the driving sections got boring, but the story was great, and the story of the treasure and the city was great as well.

i liked the final boss fight, finally a decent boss fight in uncharted.

personally i liked the no supernatural elements in the game. i prefer it that way

as for nadine i loved her, such a great character. im super excited for her and chloe in the lost legacy.

I will say that the boss fight in 4 is leagues better than the one in 3, but it was still a weird mash-up of QTEs and brand new mechanics -- and the final, climactic fight in a video game is the last place to introduce new fighting mechanics.

Uncharted has always stuggled with final boss battles. I'd say 2 is the best, only because you actually have control over movement and tactics. The rest are overburdened by QTEs.

The game was essentially made by a different team than the first 3. So, if you realise the game is paced very similarly to The last of us. It goes through action piece>traversal> action piece.

Also, saying exploration is a bit much. There was exploration only on the madagascar level.

It is what it is... i don't think it had too little shooting but it was clearly more TLOU2 than it was Uncharted 4. Like... the stealth bits were uncalled for. The family drama was uncalled for. Nate is a freaking action hero with existencial problems. I know this was supposed to reflect real life... but that is what Uncharted wasn't, and once again why i think they turned what was an indiana jones fun game into TLOU sappy story style.
It's not a bad game, but it clearly wasn't the Uncharted we grew to love.

Um I remember Uncharted 2 had a lot more puzzles and running around ?

A 9.5/10 shows some disappointment? Heard its a solid game, but I don't want to buy two different systems for a few games.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Really the one where all you do is run around in a circle and paly tag with Lazarevic ?? imo Uc2 hands down has the worst boss fight of them all.
