Well its not and even if it was that does not make it okay to attack another user especially when they have been banned.

I don't think anyone attacked Kerotan, and if they did then it would have been met with moderation, as happens with every case of taunting a banned member.

That said, people are free to talk about how the forum runs without a specific persons influence, no matter who that person is. Banned or not, staff or regular member.

Move on.

Did someone said that Media Create is civil? Yes this week is okay.
But Last week? and the week before that. Sure civil. /s

A bit excessive, eh? Seemed pretty harmless all things considered.

He insulted the British. Which is seen as patronizing since they're very capable of doing that themselves.

Right decision.

In discussing it with Aura, we agreed that it was off topic and generalizing markets. His history also comes into play, so a 1-Day Ban works.

Fair enough. To be honest half the reason I brought it up was so that people would stop making that thread off topic.

But his comment was not off-topic. I feel like it's universally accepted that you can make a side or off topic commentary if your general comment is relevant to the topic at hand.

In JRPGfan's case, he initially said something completely relevant to the main topic, then he jokingly made a generalisation, which was also partially relevant to the OP's content (see the interview in which it talks about France being the largest jRPG market, which indicates that UK would be smaller in that regard).

Basically, calling JRPGfan's comment off-topic is clearly not accurate.
