This is why anonymity for reported posts should be respected. It's now created conflict in the mediacreate thread. I did the right thing by not naming who I was referring to when bringing it up here and this is why. I'm sure the mods would prefer as little conflict as possible on this site but things like that only make it worse.

The moderators jobs imo are to run the place smoothly and keep conflict as low as possible between users. This latest conflict could have easily been avoided. Considering he posts on very similar topics to me i can see this being a long standing issue and many more problems arising down the road.
He's clearly upset by what Carl revealed and that anger isn't going to subside anytime soon in all liklihood.
If I was looking to cause more trouble I'd just mention him in here myself originally. Instead I was showing respect to the mod team by avoiding further conflict. We could of had the same discussions and the same outcome without ever having mentioned him. I know moderators probably think it's a good way to get at me by dropping names but in reality it just leads to more problems for the site and ultimately the mod team.
